Equipo PARA is a non-profit cultural association and alternative arts space on Calle La Marina in central Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Its name stands for Propuestas Alternativas Relacionadas con las Artes, and since 2007 it has set out to liven up the island's cultural life with independent, grassroots projects. It has been at its current home since 2014.

The programme is varied and changes every week: small concerts from singer-songwriters and electronic or audiovisual artists, film and documentary screenings, theatre, improv, dance, magic and performance art, plus exhibitions and themed workshops. There is a bar and conversation area, so it doubles as a sociable late-evening spot.

It draws a local, creative crowd and is a good find for visitors who want to see the capital's independent arts scene rather than the resort nightlife of the south. Events are mostly in Spanish, and La Marina 4 is close to the port and the city centre.
