About The Colonial Bar and Restaurant
The Colonial Bar and Restaurant is a family-run bar, restaurant and lounge in the Lagos de Fañabé commercial centre, just off Fañabé beach in Costa Adeje. It has been trading since 1990, which makes it one of the longer-established British-run venues on this stretch of coast, and its terraces look out towards the sea.
It is open all day, from breakfast through to late evening. The menu mixes British and Spanish home cooking with international dishes: full English breakfasts, fish and chips, homemade pies, steaks, pizza and pasta, plus a Sunday roast and a children's menu served all day. Ice cream cocktails are something of a house speciality.
In the evenings The Colonial hosts live music every night from local Tenerife artists, with soul, Motown, pop and jazz acts. It also shows live sport and caters for birthdays, anniversaries and other private functions, so it works for families, couples and groups alike.
